Dr. Howard Goldsmith
Dr. Howard Goldsmith is the founder and CEO of Goldsmith Podiatry.
Dr. Goldsmith graduated magna cum laude from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Manhattan and was the recipient of the American Podiatric Medical Association Fund for Education and Scholarship Award.
He completed an internship at Western Pennsylvania hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, furthermore, he also completed a surgical residency at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, followed by a Fellowship in Wound Care.
Dr. Goldsmith is a diplomat of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He specializes in sports medicine, wound care, general foot care, biomechanics, and pediatrics. Moreover, he is Board certified by the American college of Foot and Ankle surgery, American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and Wound Care and Limb Salvage.
He is affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan and New York Presbyterian Hospital in Queens as medical staff at the wound care and hyperbaric oxygen center.
Dr. Goldsmith currently serves as the president of the Manhattan division of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. He has served on the medical staff at the New York City Marathon and when he is not practicing podiatry he enjoys traveling, running, tennis and cooking.
Dr. Rosanna Troia
Dr. Rosanna Troia graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She was surgically trained at St. Vincent's Hospital NYC.
Dr.Rosanna Troia is double Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Rosanna Troia is affiliated with Lenox Hill and Mount Sinai West. She specializes in general podiatric problems including biomechanics, sports injuries, diabetic wound and foot care.
She is an active member of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association where she serves on the Manhattan division executive board. Dr. Rosanna Troia serves as a mentor for the Council of Podiatric Medical Education.
She speaks Italian fluently and has served as an Italian translator and medical staff member of the New York City Marathon.
Dr. Kristina T. Ruff
Dr. Kristina T. Ruff received her bachelor's degree from Providence College and completed her doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She was the recipient of the Bruce Frankel Memorial Scholarship Award and served as admissions ambassador as well as class treasurer.
She completed a four-year surgical residency at New York Presbyterian/Queens in Flushing where she was comprehensively trained in reconstructive and elective surgery of the foot and ankle at a Level-1 Trauma Center. Dr. Ruff completed multiple educational courses focusing on both internal fixation and arthroscopic surgery as well as serving as Chief Resident during her fourth year.
Dr. Kristina T. Ruff is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine and pursuing her boards in Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Ruff is affiliated with New York Presbyterian Queens, Flushing Hospital and Gramercy Surgical center. She specializes in Diabetic Wound Care/Hyperbaric Medicine at NYP/Q-Silvercrest Center for Wound Care and Flushing Hospital Wound Care Center. In private practice she specializes in general footcare, plantar fasciitis, biomechanics, diabetic wounds and forefoot/rearfoot surgery.
Dr. Ruff's background includes 25 years of dance and competitive soccer. She continues to dance and serves as a DPM mentor to incoming podiatry students.
